Intuitive Bodywork

Bodywork is a great way to reconnect with the body and allow us to receive messages that it might have for us regarding our state of being in general as well as to tune into specific areas of the body to feel what emotions, traumas, beliefs or thought patterns we might be storing there that cause discomfort, pain or disease. Then with the information received we are consciously able to shift those energies to be released with support of our breath and the help of bodywork techniques. It helps to move energy on the energetic level in short.

On physical level it helps to relax muscles, increase the oxygen flow in the blood, release toxins, to stretch ligaments and tendons. It also stimulates the skin and nervous system and soothes the nerves themselves. It helps us to relax and be in our body.
It works on your chemistry as well and helps to regulate and balance some hormones and neurotransmitters that are linked to our mood, sleep, motor activity and other functions of the brain. For example massage is one of the best ways to get oxytocin released into the body. Oxytocin is a hormone of peace. It reduces stress, both emotional and physical, and is suggested in a regular program for stress management.

Other Benefits of Bodywork are:
~ shortens recovery time from muscular strain by flushing the tissues of lactic acid, uric acid, and other metabolic wastes.
~ increases circulation without increasing heart load.
~ stretches the ligaments and tendons keeping them supple and pliable
~ affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, while promoting health and well being.
~ balances the energy levels

Recommended session time - 60 or 90 min

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is derived from the ancient practice of using natural plant essences to promote health and well being. It consists of the use of pure essential oils obtained from a wide assortment of plants, which have been steam distilled or cold-pressed from flowers, fruit, bark and roots.  Each essential oil has different healing properties. For example, some calm while others to energize.
Aromatherapy is an amazing way to enhance bodywork to help with stress,  improve emotionally related conditions or your overall well being. It has many uses in everyday life as well.
From scientific point of view Aromatherapy  affects the limbic system in our bodies  which controls emotions and influences the nervous system and hormones.
When you inhale essential oil molecules, messages are transmitted to the limbic system and affect heart rate, stress level, blood pressure, breathing, memory, digestion, and the immune system.
From shamanic point of view each plant spirit carries a unique medicine and wisdom that goes far beyond the sense of smell that can be accessed by respectfully communicating with them to receive their assistance.
